Wanna see my hole?

YAH... our HOA finally approved our landscaping plans and our pool has begun to be built! They started the dig yesterday and ended up finding a HUGE blue granite rock right in our deep end. So today they had to have special excavators and equipment out to help break it up. Our contractor gave us worse case scenario about costs and we were NOT happy, but today the breaker came in and with some shifting and giving up some depth, the hole is finally done and they will begin steel tomorrow! If all things go smooth here on out, I'll be in a bikini (YIKES) in a month and a half! So, the first pic is what it looked like at the end of the day yesterday and the other is what it looks like right now... gosh it looks bigger here than IRL!




In other news, PDW is coming along super duper great! It seems like every day there is a fab designer coming over to join us! You are gonna be shocked at who we got now and who we got comin' very soon! Like I said before, I feel sooooo honored to be a part of such a great groupl of talented gals! Anywho... since I only have a few gals playing with my new stuff, I decided that I better scrap some myself! Here are some things I did with some of my things that I did (I know I'm a dork)...



Isn't this cute? Well, not so much the layout of everything, but the idea? It's a long story how it came to be and I don't have time to type it now... but it will be up at PDW on the 1st! LOL As soon as I get the ok from a few others, I'm gonna post their layouts also... SOOOO CUTE!



And this one... used my new papers, my denim, my stitching and then a few of the FAB Gina's Cabrera's new goodies! Alright ladies, it's dinner time and I'm a hungry! I think tonight I gotta fix my blogger banner... me thinky me no see it no more!

Mark Your Calendars Girls!!!

The secret about the new site is out and we go live on July 1st!!!! We are all so excited... Holly, Misty, Janel, along with all the designers have been working so hard on new stuff just for you! Such talent there... really... I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful group of gals! Here is a preview of some goodies I got goin' up:






LOTS of other fun stuff.... but ya gotta wait! Let's see what else... some people have noticed my "absence" from the boards the past few weeks, namely 2peas. I even stopped my weekly weekend layout thread AND stopped posting layouts all together! The site has just left the worst taste in my mouth and will be moving my entire "full" gallery over to the shoppe in the next few weeks. AND as far as message boards... if you don't already, you need to join the digi shop board .... it's a beautiful thing!

I have been so busy with Makena being sick, family visiting, and makin' new goodies for the new store, I haven't even scrapped a page in like 2 weeks! I am vowing to get at least 4 pages done between now and Saturday! That's really nothing considering I use to knock out 4 pages easily a night!

Alrighty... guess that's all my rambling for now!!!!

Are you hearing secrets flying around?

I know a secret. A few others know a secret. Some of those people are super excited about the secret. I think all of us are anxious about the secret. Do you know what we know? It's going to take place on July 1st, so keep that date in mind. Someone may spill the beans before then, but I am keeping my mouth shut until I get hear the good word! However... I will leave you some things that I have been working on and once the secret is out... these will be out... well these and a TON of other new things... um, not just by me (hint, hint)...

A freebie, A sale, a mini, tags, and an alpha... in no particular order!

First, I am sooo excited to announce my official debut at selling some designs here and there at the ever so fabulous-o Holly McCaig's digi site! I had only really intended on selling the premade albums there, but gave into pressure and will be selling small things here and there! But before I get to those little goodies, I have another quickie up! Using Holly's new Inspiration 2 kit, I came up with these guys:



Next, I also managed to get a couple of goodies done for the site as well... some cute tags and a matching alpha. I actually really like them.... totally dainty and cute and GIRLY!




AND ALL of my goodies are on sale this weekend... starting today and going through until Sunday! I figured that people might still be doing Father's Day things... so I put the Quickies on sale as well!

And last but not least... a freebie from me to you!!! I used them on A LOT of my layouts and loved how they looked!

New Mini and other pointless ramblings!

Here is the new quickie up at the fab and talented
Holly's Site !!! I used her "My Life" kit because it was perfect for any Spring and Summer-y layouts as well as some pics I needed a home for:)! I'm glad that people are actually gettin' some use out of them! And am even more shocked people buy them! They print out amazingly though and you won't be disappointed!!!!!

In other news, I added a couple of more teams to my scrapping arsenal. I already had Holly's, Janel K, and then after all the nonsense and beggin' I do... Misty took pity on me and finally gave me access to her schtuff to rock!. This week, I was invited onto Carrie Stephens team over at Fishscraps... how shocked was I!!! I'm also going to be doing some things for the uber fabulous Dawn S. over at Modscraps! Whew... that seems like a lot huh? I'm not worried though cuz everyone knows that I scrap like I'm on crack (as I was told!) and can "crank layouts out like nobody's business! Speaking of which, I went to COSTCO today to pick up my prints that I upload monthly... I had 40 layouts for May ALONE! YIKES! And I'm not even going to say how many pictures!!!! So fear not designers... I'm on top of my game and will rock what ya give me!

Yesterday, we took our first official Summer trip to the good ole' beach! We didn't stay too long, maybe an hour and a half or so. I should have anticipated the baby wanting to throw herself into the ocean and wanting to munch away at sand... so once she started throwing a fit because we didn't let her, we packed up and left! It was fun though watching Blakers chase the waves and then bury himself in the sand! Guess our next trip out will have to wait until the baby knows she can't eat sand! Luckily, there are time all year round we can hit the beach and it is only 10 minutes away! Gotta love Southern Cali baby! Here are some shots:





And the disturbing one of the day, that I actually kept as motivation for myself.... the other ones of me bending at the waist all got trashed as soon as they got pulled up in PS... YUCKO!



Yeah, you see that arrow? Well, it's pointing to my extra ten or fifteen pounds of baby weight I got left around my mid section, although I feel it has to be 30 pounds there alone! Now it may not look all that bad to you, but for me... I seriously was almost in tears last night when I saw "them". I knew I had the little bulge, but I had no idea my rolls were that big! Before Makena, I was at the gym 6 days a week, cardio, weights, whatever! My tummy was nice and flat and you could even see some definition in my abs! I have always been small... even after Blake I lost weight and went down a size 1 month after I had him! So, as soon as reality set in with those pics that I trashed... I decided right then and there I was NOT going to BS around anymore! No more sittin' in front of this computer at night eatin' Warm Delight's Brownies (thanks a LOT KKT)! And so began my first official day of working out! I AM going to lose this... I SWEAR I MUST!!!!

I, Corina Nielsen, vow to take 45 minutes every day or night to work out which includes lifting weights, cardio, and abs. I do solemnly swear to lose this last little bit of baby weight before our new pool is finished at the end of the summer... so there!
